With the largest team of cloud experts in the Balkans, Mainstream provides support to clients in all stages of cloud transformation, from assessment of readiness to move to the cloud and development of a cloud strategy to migration, management and optimization of public, hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Now, we’re looking for a Cloud Network Manager to play a key role in designing, maintaining, and optimizing the advanced network infrastructure that powers our clients’ cloud environments.

Client Tenant Network Infrastructure
Managing network infrastructure within the data center at the client tenant level.
Administration of core and edge network devices (switching, routing, firewall).
Designing and maintaining cloud network services (VLAN, VXLAN, SDN).
Managing redundancy, load balancing, and failover mechanisms.
Client and Partner Connectivity
Configuring and maintaining VPNs and dedicated links to clients.
Connecting multiple data centers and disaster recovery sites.
Ensuring SLA-defined performance (latency, bandwidth).
Client-Level Security
Managing firewalls (e.g., Fortigate, Palo Alto, CheckPoint).
Monitoring IPS/IDS systems and responding to security incidents.
Implementing additional DDoS protection measures.
Operational Activities
Monitoring network performance and performing health checks for all services.
Troubleshooting incidents and communicating with clients regarding network issues.
Automating network operations (scripting, orchestration systems).
Development and Optimization of Dedicated Client Infrastructure
Network capacity planning and infrastructure expansion.
Evaluating new technologies (SD-WAN, SDN, virtualized firewalls).
Documenting network architecture, procedures, and standards.
Pre-Sales Activities
Providing technical expertise and support in pre-sales processes.
Job requirements
Enterprise Routing & Switching:
• IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, VRFs, routing fundamentals (BGP, OSPF, static, EIGRP)
• Layer-2 extension and inter-site connectivity (L2VPN, VXLAN, trunking)
• Redundancy and failover (HSRP/VRRP, ECMP, LACP)
• IPsec VPNs (site-to-site, routed and policy-based)
• Remote access VPN (AnyConnect / FortiClient / etc.)
• S2S tunnels (route-based and policy-based)
• Firewall policy design (FortiGate, ASA, Palo Alto, or NSX)
NSX Components
• Logical switching, routing, segments, and tier-0/tier-1 gateways
• Distributed firewall, gateway firewall, and security groups
• NAT, load balancing, and service insertion (IDS/IPS)
• vCenter / ESXi / vSAN operational knowledge
• Understanding of Cloud Director organization networks and edge services
Disaster Recovery & Migration
• Understanding of RPO/RTO objectives and DR runbooks
• Familiarity with Veeam, Zerto, or VMware SRM network mapping
Tooling, Automation & Documentation
• Syslog, SNMP, and NetFlow/IPFIX
• NSX Traceflow, Port Mirroring, and Trace tools for troubleshooting
• Git/GitLab operational knowledge
Certifications
• Cisco CCNP, Juniper JNCIP, Fortinet NSE7, or equivalent
